Ava Baby's is brought to you by a family that understands the life you are living now as family members or friends of a premature baby who is in the NICU because they just couldn't wait to arrive. Our micro sized Ava Baby was  born at 26 1/2 weeks, weighing just 1 lb 15 oz and was a mere 13 inches long. Our experience in the NICU with our little girl lasted nearly 3 long mths.

The arrival of a micro preemie and the NICU experience is entirely out of the ordinary and understood only by those who have been there. This is not the experience anyone is looking for when bringing a baby into the world. Bonding with this micro sized infant while in the NICU may seem difficult, but we found there are actually several things that can be done to help you all feel a little closer and grounded. You will find here clothes that will fit your still very tiny preemie baby when they are ready to leave the NICU and go home. Our AvaBaby weighed just 5 lbs when she was ready to go home. You won't find clothes that small in just any department store, we tried.
